India is a rich concerning with freshwater resources

India is a rich concerning with freshwater resources. This present inform of lakes, rivers and rivulets. In Indian the total available freshwater from all sources 1900 billion cubic meters per year out of 80% is lost of runoff. In surface flow 97% water is present while water area of reservoir and tank is 3 million hectors out of 1.5 hectors in form of pond and lake.
In India water is contamination has become a problem because of the rapid growth of population. In India, ponds or lakes are estimates on of 0.72 million hectors and Mostly they are seen in small villages and usefulness beyond debate. The water (aquatic system) is used for agriculture and domestic purpose until the industrial revolution. Now day’s water study is the most important part of parameters and fish production etc.
Aquatic ecosystem presents an organism community like animals, bacteria, fungi, weeds which interact with each other and environment and life. It is most valuable resources of food like fish and the major source of protein for a human. Water is the most vital resource of every life today it is affected both quantity and quality because of interference of human and it affected also on fish like industrial waste, mining, such pollution can be used a physicochemical parameter. The environmental parameters are responsible for water uses and disuses for different purpose (drinking and irrigation). The most important factor is pollution which outcome interaction of environment parameters by themselves or human. We need increase the study to understand aquatic environment and preserve and protect them.
The Indian subcontinent has a large number of rivers. In peninsular India, there are large rivers like the Godavari, Krishna, Kavery, Bhima, etc. These principal rivers including their main tributaries have a total length of about 27,359 km. These along with the canals and irrigation channels having a length of 112,654 km, form a network throughout the country and add considerably to the country’s capture fisheries resources (Jain, 1986).. Fishes constitute almost half the total number of vertebrates. Of the 39,900 vertebrate species recognized the world over, 21,723 are living species of fish of which 8411 are freshwater and 11,650 marine species. In the Indian region alone, of the 2500 species, 930 are freshwater inhabitants and 1570 are the marine. In terms of habitat diversity, fishes live in almost every conceivable aquatic habitat.
The reservoir is dynamic ecosystem; it interacts with water, land and air. It is manmade largest ecosystem is offer scope for increasing production in minimum cost. The aquatic ecosystem consists physicochemical and biotic factors. It is directly related to flora and in water
